| History of Club Penguin |December 2008 | Christmas Party 2008 |

Welcome back to “History of Club Penguin”. Today we will be talking about December 2008, the ”Christmas Party 2008″!

The Christmas Party was a party in Club Penguin that was held on December 19th until December 29th. It was one of the biggest events of the year. All of the rooms in Club Penguin were decorated, even rooms such as the PSA HQ, Lodge Attic and the Underground were decorated too. The Christmas Party, including Coins For Change, Rockhopper and the free items caused most of the servers in Club Penguin to become full. The Dance Lounge was decorated as Santa’s Workshop and the Dock was decorated as an ice skating area. The Dance Lounge had a picture of the elf of the month and many members had bought the Elf Hat and all of the elf clothing. The Beacon had a red bulb for the party. Even the Migrator was decorated. The Mine Shack had turned into a gingerbread house and on the Iceberg, there was a small tree that when you had clicked on it, it grew larger and larger.

There were three free items at the party. The Santa Hat at the Snow Forts, the Santa Beard at the Ski Village and the Bell at the Beach and Plaza. This was the first party in Club Penguin to decorate the PSA HQ. This was also the final Christmas Party to have the word ”Christmas” in its name. This was the last Christmas Party to have a sky.

| History of Club Penguin |October 2008 | Halloween Party 2008 |

Welcome back to “History of Club Penguin”. Today we will be talking about October 2008, the ”Halloween Party 2008″!

The Halloween Party was an event that took place from October 28th until November 2nd 2008. The special party room was the Secret Lab which was only available to members who had bought the Rad Scientist costume in the Penguin Style Catalog. Gary also made appearances at the party in the Secret Lab. To get into the Secret Lab, you would have to obtain the Rad Scientist costume, then go into the Book Room and click on the glowing green candle. This would cause the book shelf beneath it to open up and reveal stairs leading down to the Secret Lab. The free item in the Secret Lab was a Lantern. A storm also occurred during the event causing damage to the Dojo. There was also a Scavenger Hunt during the party. To participate in the Scavenger Hunt, you needed to get the Pumpkin Basket which was a free item in the Snow Forts. You needed to find 8 different types of candy around the island. The prize for completing the Scavenger Hunt was the Giant Pumpkin Background.

This is the first party to have a stormy sky. The sky in your igloo was also turned to night time for this event. This was the first time that Gary had made an appearance as a mascot at the party. Lightning struck the Dojo and left a big hole in the roof. Penguins could enter through the hole and into the Dojo Courtyard where a mysterious penguin, later to be revealed as Sensei, could be located.

| History of Club Penguin |August 2008 | Penguin Games 2008 |

Welcome back to “History of Club Penguin”. Today we will be talking about August 2008, ” Penguin Games 2008″!

The Penguin Games were a special event in Club Penguin. The event was announced on the 147th issue of the Club Penguin Times and was modeled after the Olympic Games of 2008. The Penguin Games were held from August 22 until August 27th. It is similar to the Sports Day event in 2006. The Soccer Pitch was supposed to be a temporary Members Only replacement for the Ice Rink, however it remained for both members and non-members until the Ice Rink came back during the Christmas Party 2008.

Dj Pingy8 Club Penguin 2nd ANNIVERSARY!

Today on the 31st of July 2011, I made this blog. Shortly after I made my first post. I started my blog like everyone else, no followers, no views and only one post. Over the months, I started to see the view counter go up . . . 100 views . . . 500 views . . . and later 1000 views. Every time the view counter went to a specific number, I would always thank my viewers. Because of you I wouldn’t have made it this far. I’d just like to say thank you! 🙂

This was one of the first pictures on my blog that I posted . . .
